Terms and Conditions for Mock Exams

  1. Fees for mock tests and mock test feedback sessions must be paid in full before the start of the test. Your child’s place is not confirmed until we have received payment and we reserve the right to offer the place to another pupil if payment is not made at the time of booking.
  2. Once booked, we are unable to refund mock tests or feedback sessions, however we will endeavour to offer your child a place on an alternative mock test or feedback session, if possible.
  3. Please note that although you will be given a summary of your child's test results along with their answer sheets, we are unable to give you the question papers due to our agreement with Flying Start Tuition who wrote the papers; your child has the option of attending the feedback sessions where we will go over the papers with them.
  4. Please ensure your child arrives promptly and is collected promptly at the end of any booked session.  Children who arrive more than 15 minutes in advance of the registration time; or are collected more than 15 minutes after the end of the test may be charged at the childcare hourly rate of £8 per hour, at a minimum charge of 30 minutes.
  5. Please do not send the pupil to a mock exam if they have any known or suspected condition which may be contagious.  If a contagious condition is suspected, the pupil should not attend any exam or feedback session during the period in which they could be incubating the condition or at any point after contracting the condition when they could still be contagious.
  6. If the pupil misses a mock test or feedback session, unfortunately no refund can be given, although we will offer your child a place on an alternative course or mock test, where possible.
  7. If the test is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date will be offered, where possible.   If no alternative date can be offered, a refund will be given.
  8. We are not liable for mock exams cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control such as adverse weather conditions, war, pandemics etc.  If such events lead to a cancellation, no refund will be given. However, we will always do our best to offer alternative sessions wherever possible.
  9. It is important that pupils arrive promptly at the exam or feedback session in order that they do not miss the beginning or disrupt the other group members.  Please also try to collect the pupil promptly at the end of each session.
  10. If driving to the venue, please park safely and considerately. We cannot be held responsible for any injury to persons whilst moving between their vehicle and the venue.
  11. We strive to provide the best possible service. However, we will not be held accountable or responsible for the academic success or lack thereof demonstrated by the student/client. Although we will do everything in our power to help grades and skill sets improve, we can offer no guarantee thereto.
